symbian the official operating system of europe

Interesting that the European Union  is supporting the symbian operating system with €11m contribution. I hope this helps symbian because I think it's a great system even though I use an android phone .And yes  the iphone, android and maybe windows phone 7 will take the world by storm, ok maybe I have a soft spot for symbian.  CNET article  CNET
